In Oz: The Eyes Of StrangersIn Oz: The Eyes Of Strangers* An escalation by Beau Cyphre *Maybe...if you're really interested in someone, everyone becomes photogenic, 'cause everyone is beautiful. What I like most about your project is the fact that you're capturing people we pass by every day on the streets, often not thinking a second about them or their lives, and we almost never look in the eyes of strangers. But maybe, just maybe...Maybe we all are so much closer to each other than we learned to believe, and possibly Germany's not such a cold place like I used to believe at all. We can make a difference, and you started a great journey. And thank Rosa that she pushed you a little bit to capture this girl!
In Oz: Eat Me Alive! In Oz: Eat Me Alive!* An escalation by Beau Cyphre *"They both stay up at night, hide from the sun and live in the past"Cool idea, sounds nice - but I think it shouldn't be true. The poet I dream of doesn't believe in past and future, (s)he lives in an everlasting present full of possibilities. But one thing is true: A poet's always a vampire. (S)he sucks viciously the blood of reality and transforms this "reality" into wonderland.
In Oz: ResurrectionIn Oz: Resurrection* An escalation by Beau Cyphre *"Heydrich is repairing his crimes" is such a simple sentence, such a deep sentence, and maybe it's true, at least in your painting. I think I never misunderstood your art completely, I always felt that it's so much more than "just" about Heydrich - and in the meantime I think it's more about the invisible than the visible things in life, more about all the wonders that happen behind the curtain. When everything happens for a reason, he's maybe really there, somewhere in a place where he's able to do something good, and if he had the power to do something really bad, crimes beyond measure, hopefully he's got still the power to act. Maybe your painting showed him the way, maybe you dreamed such a vision because of all the things happening now (when does "time" begin, when does it end?) - however: This is another miracle of a picture only you can accomplish, and I'm thankful for so many things y
