Ich weiß noch, wie wir diese Pflanzen das erste Mal gesehen haben, dort am Strand von Ward's Island. So much gold in this place of yours, but before I say anything about your great photographs, I just want to write a few words about this painting. I've never seen Cassie, and I don't know the band (well, I suppose, that "Skins" is a band), but it's not necessary to see an original photo of her to recognize that I like your painting very much. I don't know how you did it, but you made her look vulnerable, with eyes wide like a child's eyes and a curious and somehow scared expression telling me: "Does he really like me, too?"
