THE ART WARRIORS
- About the beginning of a new revolution -

* An escalation by Beau Cyphre *

Keep your art free! Don't diss yourself with watermarks, don't shrink your vision - and don't fear the illusion of art theft.

Just wrote it down in my Twitter as another stroke, and this sword's sharp enough to make you think. All art is about sharing, and what I get is what I give: Everything's in the flow, and it's time to give up the illusion of personal importance. I'm not saying you're dispensable. I think you're better as a living and responding part of all the energy floating inside and outside of ourselves. We're all dead now, and to live we need to transcend the barriers we put up all the time. There's freedom outside the borders, and the sight to a far away horizon leads just to another and another illusional horizon.
Real life is endless, and we're all made to travel really far. We've come a long way, and sometimes we feel so bad that we want to give up, but then we feel the power within and stick to our vision, trying to manifest the myriad of colors of life.
Heads we're dancing, and sharing our kisses is like sharing our breath: We do it all the time, and we do it worldwide. This thing is universal, and there's really nothing that belongs just to ourselves.

"But I need to live! I need to make money with my art!"

Yes, you can hear them all scream now, and these are the voices of the dead. Ask Leonardo if his art belongs to him, ask Michelangelo. There's nothing we can own, and we're just out of control if we try to do so. But if we let go and if we're becoming able to share our visions, there's never been greater inspiration than this.

This is for all the artists who have a wild dream, who try to do something special with their art - for those who live and feel the sense of a real worldwide community.

So do you wanna join the Art Warriors? Just put down your watermarks, let your art shine and share your soul with all of us. The revolution has just begun.

Evolution:

This is for all the artists who have a wild dream, who try to do something special with their art - for those who live and feel the sense of a real worldwide community.

With the additional sentence it's clear now that there's more to come than art without watermarks, people with no fear of "art theft". The WARRIORS are some special kind of guys, they believe in the things they do, and more than that they believe in beauty. They communicate the world they live in, and they really appreciate words straight from the heart. The ART WARRIORS try to be not too self-centered in the things they're doing, they give and get inspiration, therefore becoming divine muses of THE ART itself.

THE WARRIORS are active members of the deviantART-Community, but their first goal is far from getting popular. Popularity may come along the way, but it's more a challenge than a gift because they're aware that art's much too soon corrupted by the attention of "the too many".
They believe more in commenting than giving "favs", and they are eager to give something back to all the other artists that inspire them. So love is a circle, and sharing the ART means sharing the WORD, and in metaphors we dance now.

Peace and be wild! **

Firestarter was just the first picture in an installment of alternating works of the WARRIORS.

Little Lover Reborn is the ninth one in this series. Akif Hakan Celebi gives reality a surrealistic touch, and here he does the impossible: He's just stopping time.

If you're an Art Warrior, we'll need 2 commit an ART CRIME 2gether, and an ART CRIME it will be. Stay tuned!

If art's a crime, then crime could be a new form of art.
If a crime feels like art and GOD is by your side - who's 2 blame?

The message:

I think you're one of THE ART WARRIORS, and I'm proud to get to know you via your art. "Art Warriors" are strange creatures in a world that's moving so fast like our world today, and maybe they're really mad in the head. What makes them strong is that they believe in greater things, and most of all they believe in love and feel the power of the waves that are coming in and are going out from all of us.
If you feel offended by my idea and don't want to be a part of it, just tell me in a short message or comment, and I'll remove your avatar. But if you agree, please spread the word! Maybe there's a chance to start a revolution.

If U get the message, I really believe you're one of them.

"With an all-knowing mind made in God's image
U can create as ur creator, God, intended:
With love, honor and respect 4 every living thing in the universe.
Separation ceases, and we all become one being
Singing the one song"

Prince, One Song

Sure, there are some people around the world who copy and paste pictures and works of others and try to make money of it, but so what? I'm just thinking about what I would feel if they did this with my art. Could I really feel offended by someone who estimates some of my works so precious that he thinks these works will earn him a living? Perhaps I should wish him good luck and thank him for looking at my creations with such admiring eyes.

or: Everybody is stealing art

* An escalation by Beau Cyphre *

In the last weeks and months I read a lot of journals and statements in the deviantART-community concerning the anger and frustration about art theft, and I'd never been able to get the point and feel the same.

There's a risk in taking pictures of living things, and the greatest risk is when you don't know which ones are alive and which are not. I'd always been a hunter, and when I got my first camera I tried to hunt down as many things as I could. My pretty camera was oh so little, but thinking about all the secrets I kept inside I got the vision of a really big thing, and my camera first became a house, then a palace and at last a mighty kingdom in my mind...

May I... watch? Or shall I go any... further? I'm not the one to ask, and you're not the one to complain about things that feel so good. I never knew that my tongue could do things like that, and while your fingers do the walk in and out, my wild dreams are all about the smell and taste of your precious, your oh so precious red rose, and when I'm finally there you're completely there, too: The best things always come in one, but I will ask for the second coming.

Did you ever think about all the things you could do when you're alone? Sure you did, and you know a lot of games to play at your private party.
I think there'll be some of your friends with you right now, and it feels great to celebrate your birthday, but in the end you're alone in the night, and the best of all pleasures come in the dark. I dreamed about these hands tonight, moving in circles and the fingers doing all their little dances, their spins and turns until you get higher and higher.
Orgasm feels like flying sometimes
