Originally intended as an ongoing collaboration between

and me, The Skeleton Keys soon became more difficult to handle and developed in another direction. Because I really believed we could do it together, the launch is inspired by one of Nikolas's great portraits. Thank you for that, guy!

There's a world inside each and everyone of us, and we hold the keys to a mystery within our biological systems. These keys are made to open doors, secret portals that are leading into a lot of worlds: Strange, beautiful, dangerous, but always adventurous worlds.

I also want to thank the greatest storyteller of our time who made this series possible: Stephen King.

Sometimes you open your eyes and you find that things aren't really what they seem. Understanding the mystery of the Matrix then enables you to create.

Do you want to be part of the adventure? Just send me a note with a link to one of your artworks you think that fits, and tell me why you believe it belongs to The Skeleton Keys. If it does, there may be a story about one of your works online soon.

Wow, wow, wow!! Und das ist natürlich längst nicht alles, was ich dazu zu sagen habe!
Ihr beiden habt es unheimlich spannend gemacht, und obwohl ich es mindestens zwei Mal versucht habe, hab ich auch aus Nikolas kein Wort über euer Projekt heraus bekommen - es war echt zum Verzweifeln

Aber jetzt gibt es eine Richtung, und ich bekomme 'ne Ahnung, was das werden könnte. Ich bin sicher, dass es großartig werden wird.

Danke! Ich denke, es bleibt noch eine Zeit lang spannend, weil es sowohl für Nikolas als auch für mich eine Reise ins Unbekannte ist. Wir träumen. Über diese Träume gelingt es uns vielleicht, bald Boden unter den Füßen zu bekommen, und dann geht es wirklich voran.

? Ich hab ihm einige Vorlagen gegeben, aber es kommt bis jetzt nichts, also...
Ich denke, ich mache noch einen Versuch, und wenn er dann nicht aufspringt, ziehe ich die Keys tatsächlich ohne ihn durch.
